How does it apply to MCI?

Good to keep in mind the needs of the novice user. Perhaps we should create a "how to use blackboard" section.

How would it have helped the Marines?

Perhaps there is something that would be useful to record what the learner did and have us correct.

How does it apply to the civilians?

It was good to see that really anything can be done distance.

Instruction via webcam with a real live teacher

They must be able to see and hear the student

Start with a introductory course for complete novices

They quiz the students throughout the process. They must understand the theory along with performance. They also have a way to measure and thus show progress.

They use a software program to record the student and it let's them know what they did right and wrong. (Very cool.)
