Accounting courses for USAID Egypt
USAID Egypt
The Cairo office of USAID has become the training hub for USAID outside of Washington DC. They hired a team from Utah State University to create/update 2 courses to be delivered in Cairo to a large multicultural audience. The project took us to Cairo for over 3 weeks where we presented the material to USAID trainers, observed the courses, offered feedback to presenters, and wrote our final evaluation.
I created our online communication site, was the technical consultant for the team and was the sole member of the group who worked on both courses. I am currently finishing an evaluation of the team for future international experiences from USU.

Done Differently?
Much more communication should have happened between our group and USAID. To some point this was a natural process as there was bound to be some miscommunication due to culture, yet there was little documentation created and very little written agreement.
